Miniso Nose Strips

Miniso has so many choices in almost every category but that can be overwhelming sometimes especially since Miniso products aren’t very expensive we tend to want to buy everything which sometimes becomes waste so here I am reviewing a few of their nose strips that are available in their stores. Also, these are not all of them since every store carries something different. I collected these from the nearby stores in Mumbai, India.

Some of the Miniso Products are available on Amazon but most of their nose strips are out of stock so I can’t link them but these are available in their physical stores.

If you don’t know how to use nose strips the right way check out the ending where I’ll explain it. Also, all Miniso nose strips have strategic cuts which makes it easy to blend it with your nose shape and size.

MINISO ROSE ESSENCE PORE STRIP

Price: Rs 200/- for 10 strips

My Experience:

Now if you have sensitive skin or just a sensitive nose like you feel the itching when you use nose strips you would like this better. Somehow this nose strip is less harsh on the skin and it doesn’t even hurt while you are peeling it off. But also because of this, the stubborn and very deep-rooted blackheads don’t come off at one go.

So I use a nose strip every 6-7 days but sometimes in between when I feel I need to use one because of some event or sometimes the blackheads come up faster then I use this one in between since this one is milder. Also, I prefer cutting this up and using it for my chin since its mild it removes all of my whiteheads from my chin area without hurting me. Also if you have very bad blackheads that don’t come off in one nose strip then what you can do is use something else first then wait for 5 mins and then use this one. Since this is mild this doesn’t cause redness compared to using other nose strips twice. I do this for my Aunt who has terribly stubborn blackheads.

If you have active acne on your nose or chin I wouldn’t suggest using this but if you have bump you think is gonna turn into acne you can use this strip. In fact, the strip pulls out the gunk and helps the bump to subside but be very careful do use aloe vera afterward and be gentle don’t pull harshly.

Before this my fav was the Health&Glow Aloe Vera Nose Strip I still use that but this one is quite similar to that one.

My Ratings:

MINISO PORE CONTRACTING PORE STRIPS

Price: Rs 190/- for 10 strips

My Experience:

I like this more compared to all the other pore strips since this one covers a lot of my checklist like this one removes stubborn blackheads, all whiteheads and also any other dirt or gunk stuck in my pores. This one doesn’t irritate much since it has witch hazel and it also keeps a good PH balance. But if you have sensitive skin I would say don’t go for this one because it does tingle after you peel it off which I have gotten used to.

It makes my skin really smooth and doesn’t hurt that much while peeling it off. (obviously, you need to peel it right) It leaves a cooling sensation after I peel it off. I like the way this one feels and also I have noticed that my blackheads grow back a little slower compared to the other nose strips I have used so I do think this one makes my pores a little smaller.

My Ratings:

MINISO DEEP CLEANSING PORE STRIP

Price: Rs 190/- for 10 strips

My Experience:

Now if you have stubborn blackheads and mild nose strips do nothing for you but at the same time, you do get easily irritated with nose strips then go for this. This does everything the Pore contracting one does but this is milder and has aloe vera so it irritates less. Also doesn’t tingle after peeling it off but also removes all dirt and gunk from the pores. But this doesn’t do much for making your pores smaller comparatively.

My Aunt has sensitive skin but very stubborn blackheads so I use the combination of this one and the Rose essence one together on her and it really helps hers.

My Ratings:

MINISO OIL CONTROLLING PORE STRIPS

Price: Rs 190/- for 10 strips

My Experience:

If you have oily skin or oily T-zone or if you travel every day in the dust and pollution then go for this one since this one works really well on stubborn blackheads and maintains oil and sebum production. It isn’t mild though like the Deep cleansing one so this will irritate a little and will tingle after you peel it off. So if you have sensitive skin you can skip it but if oily nose is more your concern then go with this.

I liked this before I found the pore contracting one. Since I do have oily nose I thought this one was better for me but the blue one that is the pore contracting one works better for me since it maintains PH balance much better as I do get flaky skin on my nose especially in colder weather.

This one has red clay so it removes the dirt much better. So if you travel every day in pollution then this is a much better option for you.

My Ratings:

MINISO LITTLE RABBIT NOSE PORES STRIPS (3 steps kit)

Price: Rs 250/- for 4 strips (set)

My Experience:

This is good but time-consuming so unless you have the time and patience then only got for this also economically it is not expensive but also it’s not cheap since only 4 strips come in one box also this one isn’t available in every store, I have seen this in very few stores.

This is a three-step pore strip where the first step cleans and opens up your pores for better extraction of blackheads and whiteheads when you apply the second step nose strip which works like the normal nose strip. The third step is the serum step where it closes your pores and also moisturizes.

This is great to use if you have stubborn blackheads that don’t come off easily and also have a sensitive nose or if you have enlarged pores. I usually use this one once a month before some occasions when I have the time since all of it takes at least 45 mins (15 mins each step). But it is a great option to have. Innisfree and Faceshop have something like this but those are way more expensive and this one does a good enough job quite similar to those so this is something you can try.
If you don’t want so many steps it’s okay you can use any regular nose strip and follow it up a serum of your choice which carters to pore care and it will work the same way.

How do you use Miniso nose strips:

You use them just like you use other nose strips.

HOW TO USE NOSE STRIPS THE RIGHT WAY:

1. Wash your nose first thoroughly. (I prefer using warm water it open up your pores)

2. Wet your nose and area around it.

3. Peel the strip from the transparent film and fit it on your nose.

4. Keep it for 15 mins (it takes that long for the nose strip to actually work) (if you remove it before the glue will stick on the skin instead of pulling out the blackheads)

5. Peel off the nose strip (pull it towards the center. First, pull it from the right side towards the middle then do it from the left. This way it will hurt less and will pull off more blackheads and whiteheads) (Also do this step quickly and keep your skin taunt)

6. Clean off the glue or any residue that is stuck

7. Apply any kind of gel-like cream which will be cooling like aloe vera (if the gel is cold it will work better since that will subside any redness and close your pores)

8. After the gel has dried off apply pore care or any other serum over it. (you can skip gel and directly go for serum too)
