Packaging: I am actually a huge fan of Vilvah packaging and this little guy is my fav for sure. The packaging is sustainable but it’s also lightweight & sturdy. It’s so little and compact you can carry it anywhere. The tiny tin also has all the required information. If you are a clumsy person like me you would really appreciate the packaging since you can drop it and won’t have to worry about breaking or destroying it.

My Experience:

I love Vilvah products but when I started using this frankly I did not have high hopes. Rarely an eye cream works on my dark circles and for puffiness and wrinkles, I already had other eye creams that I was loving so when in a month this started working for me I just knew I found a gem. Any eye cream takes some time to show any kind of result (at least a month but more like 3 months).

Your under-eye skin is more delicate compared to other parts of your face or body so you have to be extra careful. Since I am closing 30 and the major part I have dry skin with a really bad sleeping pattern I have the worst under eye condition. I suffer from puffiness, dark circles (which is mild not as bad) dryness which causes creases and wrinkles.

Now coming to the formula of the eye cream, the texture is quite balm-like. You need a tiny amount since the balm-like texture melts between your fingers. I use my middle finger to apply under eye cream. The texture becomes like a oil and spreads easily. Gives an instant dewy under eyes. It absorbs in 5 mins or so. It does have a strong scent but it doesn’t irritate your eyes just give it some time the scent will feel soothing. I really like the way it smells. You would feel a slight tingle when you apply it for a min but its soothing and not irritating at all.

Now you can use this as a regular eye cream or you can also use this as an under-eye massage oil for quick soothing relief from puffy and tired eyes. I like it both ways but I use it as an eye cream a lot more. I prefer using this in my PM routine since it is oily and if you use it in the day not all concealers mix well with it.

It will show results in 4 weeks of using it regularly. It helps with my creases I used to get because of dryness has made the area a lot smoother compared to before and it works for my under eye darkness (at least 40% ) in 6 months of use. Now I do use other eye creams since I do a lot of reviews so I use one continuously for 2 to 3 months then use something else so my continuous use is a little different. I don’t use this on days I have used chemical ingredients (AHA & BHA) one or two times it did react a little nothing major but I avoid it after that. I love using this with my vitamin C routine. The combination works faster and much better with under-eye darkness. It also works with my retinol routine. It does work for puffiness but for me, it worked 50% I prefer another eye cream for my puffy eyes which I will review next.

Overall I think this is a great investment since its affordable and the ingredients are all-natural and the packaging is perfect and well it is from an Indian Brand. I also think this is a great dupe for the Body Shop Oils of life eye cream even though the texture and formulation are different. It is a dupe in terms of effectiveness.

My Recommendation:

If you have any under eye issues like darkness puffiness or seeing wrinkles and creases then do get this. If you have dry under eyes you would like this more compared to if you have oily under eyes (which only happens if you are a teenager) this isn’t meant for oily under eyes. Also, get this if you are above 25 years old before that I don’t think you need this unless you have any of the above-mentioned issues. The price is perfect and it lasts for a good period of time. If you are looking for an eye cream for using under concealer then this isn’t for you. If you are someone who stays away from essential oils then skip it.

My Rating: 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀5/5
