I bought these masks after seeing Shreya Jain review it on her Youtube where she said she loved the Tea tree mask for itchy scalp so I got that one and the Onion mask with which I got the Argan hair mask free (the sample size). I have these for a few months now so my review is complete and thorough. I hope it helps.
For reference: I have wavy dry frizzy hair with an oily itchy scalp. I always prefer using my Body shop Ginger shampoo. I have colored treated hair so I do have dry and damaged ends which I take extra care of. I also suffer from terrible hair fall no matter what because of hormonal imbalance and an unhealthy lifestyle.

My Experience:
The fact that I finished this and already have a back up says that I love this one. But it wasn’t like this when I first used it, in fact, the first two times I used it I hated it then I realized I was applying it the wrong way.
The consistency of the mask is thick and it applies better on the scalp either with a hair pack brush or your wet fingers. The scent isn’t too strong it lingers for like 5 to 10 mins and once you wash it off the scent completely goes away. I like the way it makes my scalp feel. It feels cool and the itchy feeling goes away immediately. It washes off also very easily which I didn’t think was possible since the mask is really thick and creamy. It makes your scalp feel clean and your hair feels soft and smooth since the mask cleans your scalp without stripping it of its natural oils. If you have dry flaky scalp or oily scalp you will like using this mask.
I use this mask twice a week and it works perfectly fine for me. It has reduced the scalp itchiness a lot. Also, this mask doesn’t cause extra hair breakage and its perfectly fine to use on colored treated hair.
How I use it: I take a spray bottle with water in it and damp my hair from scalp to the length of my hair. I don’t make it too wet just damp enough that the mask goes on smoothly. I divide my hair into parts and apply the hair mask. I use a hair pack brush makes it easier to apply it evenly. I concentrate this mostly on my scalp instead of my whole hair. Since it is meant for itchy scalp, but if you have oily ends then you can use this all over. I use a hair massager which I got from Miniso and massage my scalp for 3 to 5 mins. This step helps the mask to sink in better. I leave this on for atleast 30 mins sometimes even one hour since it makes your scalp feel really cool and calm. Then just wash it off with my regular Ginger shampoo from The Body Shop. While washing it off I first rinse it with just water for 2 to 3 mins then use the shampoo.
I see that every time I follow this method I get the most of the mask compared to when I use it a little differently. I tend to use another nourishing mask on the length of my hair when I use this mask on my scalp. Mostly I use the Palmers fusion hair mask. The combination gives me the best result ever. But you can obviously just use this one for the length of the hair since it doesn’t dry out your hair and does make them soft and smooth. If you have the Argan hair mask from Mamaearth you can use that combo too, gives you the same effect.
My Recommendation:
If you have an itchy scalp or oily scalp or even get heat boils on your scalp because of heat or if you suffer from product build-up then you should definitely give this one a try. This is my fav from all the others even when compared to a lot of other brand masks I have tried. Just use it the way I have explained and you will see a better result. If there is one mask from Mamaearth you want to try then try this one.

My Experience:
This mask has the same consistency but I feel its more creamy. This does smell stronger than tea tree mask. This one smells like a strong flower. I’m sure that because of the added fragrance which is needed since onion and vinegar wouldn’t smell the best together. The scent does linger much longer too even after washing it but it’s not overwhelming and it doesn’t bother me at all. It does feel cooling on the scalp. It also makes your hair really smooth and soft.
How I use it: I apply this the same way I apply the Tea tree hair mask but I apply this on my hair length as well. I also massage my scalp with the same Miniso hair massager and this helps the mask to sink in better. If you want to make your hair extra soft you can use a hot towel and that way it will work better. But I don’t do this on a regular basis. I use this mask once a week. I use the same shampoo and let this also sit a minimum of 30 mins and sometimes an hour.
My Recommendation:
If you suffer from hair fall due to hair salon treatments or because of daily pollution or if you suffer from basic hair fall then this will work for you if you use this twice a week properly for 3 months. But if you suffer from hair fall due to certain health issues like hormonal then this isn’t gonna help you completely. It may help you to a certain extent but that any other simple mask will too or oiling will work better.

My Experience:
Now I can’t go to a lot of details on this since I have the sample size. This size gave me only 2 to 3 uses maybe because the next two times I concentrated on my length than the scalp. It does make your hair soft and really works on the frizzy parts. The effect looks more natural compared to a salon spa. I can’t say much on the strong hair part since I haven’t used enough. If you are getting this I would recommend using it twice a week regularly. This one has no strong scent and its easy to wash off.
How I use it: The procedure is also like the other two but I mostly concentrate on the hair length and mostly on the ends since those are the most damaged. The hot towel method works with this one too.
My Recommendation:
If you have really dry and frizzy hair and especially if you have curly wavy hair then you should give this mask a try. Though I like my mask to be less thick and I do like my palmer fusion hair mask a hair more but this is a very good option too. After I finish my onion hair mask I will get this one.
