Availability: I haven’t seen Beauty co. products in any shop or beauty store. For now I think its only available online on Nykaa, Amazon. I bought mine from Amazon because it was out of stock on Nykaa for a while.

You can find it online here:

Packaging: The oil bottle comes in a cardboard box with information printed on it. Inside the bottle is made of glass with gold screw cap with has a dropper. The dropper is press instead of the squeezing one. You can see the quantity since the glass is transparent. The packaging is good but for some reason it gets too messy. The quality could be better. The gold cap looks stylish because it is press kind but I feel the dropper should be squeezing one for oils, it just makes it less messy. I wouldn’t recommend traveling with this.

Formula: The oil inside is of a regular face oil consistency which is good. Its not the dry oil type. The oil gives a proper dewy look on the skin. There is gold flecks in the oil so shaking the bottle before using is recommended. The gold flecks do show up on the skin. The oil is nourishing and moisturizing.

My Experience: When I saw a lot of beauty bloggers raving about this, I was little skeptical to try it as its expensive for a oil and I just thought it was paid promotion but when I started seeing the bloggers I trust try this and like it, I decided to give it a try. And I’m glad I did because this has turn into one of my favorites.

I bought this from Amazon because it was out of stock on Nykaa for months but the price is less on Nykaa then Amazon. The product is usually on discount on both sites. I hate when brands do this. They keep the price high then put discounts on it to make us want to buy it at less price. Why can’t you just keep a regular price instead of this manipulation.

Now if we come to the formula I haven’t seen anything like this oil. I have used gold oil before but this oil is different. The consistency is thin for an oil. There are proper gold flecks in the oil which show up on the skin. You have to shake the bottle well before using it. The dropper is flat so you have to press it inwards. I would have definitely preferred the regular dropper because I have already made enough mess and dropped this oil. And the gold flecks stick on the corners of the cap making the bottle a glitter mess.

The oil is a great primer as it gives your face the perfect canvas for the base products to go on. But I actually prefer to mix 2 drops of it in my foundation as it makes my foundation go on much smoother. At first I thought the gold flecks will emphasis texture on my skin but it doesn’t, infact it gives me a nice glow. This oil also nourishes and moisturizers your skin. Now my nose is oily so most types of oils and foundations break around the nose area but this one doesn’t if I set it with powder.

This oil gives me the glow without making me look like a hot greasy mess. On days when I don’t wanna go with a foundation I just take two drops of it in my hands, rub it (which helps to warm up the product) and then dab it on the high point of my face and collar bone.

It takes a while to get a hang of this oil, it took me a while to like it because I prefer a matte more natural finish over too glowy, but now I’m a convert and can’t go back. I definitely love this oil and recommend it. I would repurchase after I finish mine. This will work okay for oily skin girls too if you just set your t-zone because the oil isn’t greasy.

I have dry skin even then I prefer setting my face as I live in a humid weather. The glow will obviously reduce if you use a mattifying powder.

You can also mix a few drops of this oil with your body lotion and rub it on your legs and hands any exposed area. This oil will not only moisturize your skin but will also make your legs and hands look toned and glowing. I usually apply this on the legs when I’m wearing a short dress or skirt.

Also it says if used regularly it helps nourish, moisturize and is also anti-ageing like helps slow down the lines on the face. Now it definitely moisturizers but I haven’t used it enough to be sure about anti ageing properties. I’ll obviously update on that on Instagram. So follow me there for updates.

My Rating: 4/5

(I love the oil but I wish the packaging was a little less messy)

(A little goes a long way so its economical too)

For reference: I have dull, dry to combination (my nose is oily) and sensitive skin and have pigmentation around my lips and on the outline of my face. I’m not prone to acne but I do get them and sometimes heat boils due to weather change which do leave marks sometimes. I have few blemishes too on my face. I have dark circles under my eyes.
