Packaging:

I have the mini version which I got in a set with different oils so my bottle is 5 ml whereas the bottle itself comes in 15 ml. But the packaging is the same kind, just a little bigger. The bottle is glass. The cap/ dropper has gold molding with a white top which is easy to use and doesn’t slip from your fingers so that’s good. The bottle is sleek and easy to store and also easy enough to travel with but because its glass bottle you will have to be careful.

My Experience:

I don’t suffer from extreme darkness my major issues are puffiness and wrinkles since I have dry flaky under eyes so most of eye creams and serum are for those things in particular and this serum is one of my favorites. This is basically for hydrating and firming two things I need and this delivers.

Its lightweight so doesn’t feel greasy or oily but give it 5 mins to completely sink in, till then you may feel its too dewy. It’s very hydrating, instantly it will give you hydration since it has Vitamin E in it. It’s not the claiming type but it is okay since it helps with the wrinkles.

You barely need a drop for each eye. The way I use is I rub it around in clock and anti-clock motion, this helps in blood circulation around the eye area which in turn helps the serum to work better in firming. Always use your ring finger to apply eye cream or serum. I also sometimes use a or two drops more of the serum and use the rose quartz roller’s small side around my eyes and eyebrow this really helps with my puffiness.

Also, I like to use this in combination with the Innisfree Green Tea Seed eye cream sometimes. I first use this serum then go over with the cream when I want a more cooling effect. I do have tired eyes, so I tend to love this combo on some days when I need the extra nourishment. Also, I like that this serum doesn’t react with other creams if used together. I just avoid using it the days I use serums which has Acid of any kind because oils and acid is not the best combination for my sensitive allergy-prone skin.

I would totally recommend this to you if you are looking for a serum which will help in firming up your eye area especially for wrinkles. But if your major concern is darkness you can skip this. Also if you have oily under eye then get a cream for hydration or if you wanna use this, use it only at night time. I also prefer using this at night time instead of the day. I feel this works better when you are sleeping. The rest makes the serum work better. The night you don’t sleep well this doesn’t work. It works better with relaxed skin. (that’s my logic, it could be wrong)

It also doesn’t have any particular strong scent so it won’t cause problems if you have sensitive eyes. I have sensitive eyes and it works for me.

Disclaimer: This also claims it helps in lash growth since it has castor oil, It does do that but I tend to not use it very close to my lash line because I put eye drops at night so the oil tends to mix with that and cause itchiness so I tend to not put anything for my lashes most of the times.

My Rating:

(it does what it claims and it’s affordable for an eye serum)
