My Experience: When I think about hair care and shampoo this is the only shampoo that comes to my mind. This is my holy grail shampoo and also one of those which I have used for the longest time. Now I suffer from dry scalp but also oily middle which also causes build up of dirt and oil and makes my hair super greasy and flaky and itchy, so finding the right kind of shampoo is super difficult for me. I had to use mixtures of few different shampoos and I still wasn’t satisfied and my hair wasn’t happy. Then I heard someone say something good about this shampoo in The Body Shop store and got the small bottle to try and I haven’t stopped repurchasing after that its been 2 years.

Its a gel based shampoo which works perfectly for my hair type since it thoroughly cleans my hair and scalp without drying it. The ginger in it is what hair to stay clean for longer which helps with the itchy feeling and flakiness. Its moisturizing enough and doesn’t strip your hair from its natural oils. Now this type of shampoo works for all hair types but if you have dry frizzy hair then you need to continue with a good hydrating conditioner.

I wash my hair more in summers and monsoon compared to winters. So I use this shampoo two times a week minimum. It keeps my scalp fresh and flake free. This is also great to use when you oiled your hair and want to completely cleanse it without over washing your hair.

It smells exactly like ginger and the smell stays for an hour or so then disappears unless you sniff it closely. This shampoo also helps in keeping the bad odor of unwashed hair away.

The packaging is convenient enough to use and you get two sizes so you can buy the small one to first give it a try. The shampoo is mild and gentle so young children and teenagers can also use it.

If you have normal hair with no problems you can still get this for summers and use it once a week to clean up the product build up and keeping your hair and scalp fresh from summer heat. You can also use this if you have coloured hair, doesn’t strip or fade your colour in any way. I have chemically treated hair (coloured hair) and it works great for me.

My Ratings: 10 out of 5 { I hope this portrays the love I feel for this shampoo}

My Experience: This is my new discovery I bought it around the time they launched it in winters lasts year and since it said its for dull hair I had to try it. Like my skin my hair can also be dull and I have wavy hair so dull comes with the territory The store person told me to try this and hence bought the small one to try and now I am on my third bottle.

This does exactly what it says. It gives your hair the glossy shiny look and make your hair stronger and the bonus is the strawberry candy smell. I like sweet fruity scents so I like this but if you don’t like sweet fruity smells you won’t like this shampoo. The scent does linger for minimum half a day. This is also a gel based shampoo. The reason I like The Body Shop more is because they make good gel based shampoos.

Also this shampoo is very hydrating without weighing your hair down or making it look greasy. I love the feeling of this shampoo. I use this once a week and on days I want my hair to look extra special or if I want to style my hair. Somehow whenever I use this shampoo and style my hair the style stays in place longer comparatively, usually no hold spray can also hold my hair in place or style for more then 4 hours.

Since I use this only once a week I buy the small bottle only and it lasts me 3 months. I have medium length hair. I can also skip conditioner if I’m feeling lazy when I use this shampoo since it controls my frizz for two days straight without help.

I would recommend this shampoo if you have dry dull frizzy hair and like shiny glossy hair.

My Ratings:4/5 {This is a great everyday shampoo if you have normal to dry hair}

My Experience: I used this one before I found the Strawberry one. I usually mixed this one with the Ginger shampoo and used it and it gave me an instant boost of volume to my hair. But somehow this combination wasn’t hydrating enough for my frizzy hair and I used to not use conditioner or mask back then.

This is also a gel based shampoo if you have caught on my theme I’ll say it out loud I love gel based shampoos a lot. This is great if you suffer from hair fall and fine hair and breakage because of too thin hair strands. I used to have very thin hair and used to get super heavy hairfall. I still suffer from hair fall but its not as bad as it used to be and one of the reasons is this shampoo so I do really like this but I don’t use it anymore since the strawberry shampoo gives me same benefits plus more.

This one also gives fresh feeling on the scalp, smells amazing and thoroughly cleans your scalp without drying them out. Great to use after oiling sessions.

I would recommend this if you have normal to fine hair.

My Ratings:3/5 {Since I don’t use this anymore}

Now if you want to try a shampoo from the Body shop but want a cream based shampoo since you have extra dry hair I would suggest get the banana one since its very nourishing. And If you have extra oily scalp and want something stronger to clean your hair try their Fuji hair range. I have their Fuji Hair Scrub and I do really like will review it soon.
